Whole club takes on the Mo Run Glasgow on Sunday 29th November
Mark your calendars! On Sunday 29th November, Busby AFC will take over Glasgow Green as a whole club to take part in the Mo Run Glasgow, in support of Movember.

How Our Teams Are Taking Part
Every age group at the club will be involved, split across two distances:
- Small-sided teams (2020–2015 birth years): 1.5k Mini MoRun, starting 11:45am
- 11-a-side teams (2014–2011 birth years): 5k MoRun, starting 10:00am
Why We're Doing This
This is a whole-club fundraiser, with money raised split between Movember and Busby AFC. The club's share will go directly towards higher-quality match strips for the next two seasons (2027/28 and 28/29). The new kit will be more durable, will raise the profile of the club, and will bring a genuinely professional feel to our grassroots teams.
What We're Asking of Players and Families
- Fundraising target: every player is asked to raise a minimum of £75, which will include their registration fee.
- Registration fees: covered by the club for every player, so there is no cost to families to enter. Parents/guardians are more than welcome to join if they cover the cost of registration.
- Charity contribution: Funds raised will be split between Movember who support men's mental health and cancer research.
All players across every age group are expected to take part. It's a brilliant chance to bring the whole club together and round off the year with a big team and club event, with lots of fun to be had along the way!

By making a donation or registering your interest through this page, you agree to the following terms.
1. About This Fundraiser
This fundraiser supports Busby AFC's participation in the Mo Run Glasgow on Sunday 29th November 2026. Funds raised will be split between Movember and Busby AFC. The club's share will go towards higher-quality match strips for next season. Movember's share supports its work on men's health, including mental health and suicide prevention, and cancer research.
2. Making a Donation
Donations are processed securely through our website's payment provider. Please check your card or bank details are correct before confirming a donation, as we are unable to amend a payment once it has been submitted.
All donations are voluntary and non-refundable, except where required by law or in the case of a proven processing error. If you believe a donation has been made in error, please contact us using the details below as soon as possible.
3. Use of Funds
As a registered charity, Busby AFC must use donations in line with its charitable purposes. The club's share of the funds raised through this fundraiser will go towards new match strips for the club's teams. In the unlikely event that the amount raised is more or less than needed for this purpose, the charity trustees will decide how to allocate the funds in a way that still furthers the club's charitable purposes, such as towards training kit or equipment.
4. Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, some or all of your donation may be eligible for Gift Aid, which allows Busby AFC to claim an extra amount from HMRC at no cost to you. Where Gift Aid is available, you will be asked to confirm your UK taxpayer status and provide the necessary declaration when you donate. Please note that Gift Aid can only be claimed on personal donations, not on funds received in return for goods, services or entry to an event.
5. Taking Part in the Mo Run Glasgow
The Mo Run Glasgow is organised and run by Movember and its event partners, not by Busby AFC. Full event details, including the schedule, route and rules, are available at mo-running.com/glasgow. Busby AFC is not responsible for the organisation, running or safety arrangements of the event itself.
Parents or guardians of players taking part are responsible for ensuring their child is fit and well enough to take part, and for supervising their child before, during and after the event unless other arrangements have been agreed with the club in advance. All players and participants take part at their own risk.
6. Changes or Cancellation
If the Mo Run Glasgow event is postponed, cancelled or otherwise changed by its organisers, Busby AFC will let participants and donors know as soon as possible. Donations already made will not automatically be refunded in this situation, as funds raised still go towards the stated causes of Movember and the club's match strips fund.
7. Photography and Media
Photographs and video may be taken on the day of the event and used by Busby AFC on its website, social media and other club communications to promote the fundraiser and the club. If you do not wish for your child to appear in these materials, please let us know in advance using the contact details below.
8. Data Protection
Any personal information you provide when donating or registering, such as your name, email address and donation amount, is used only to process your donation, keep track of fundraising progress and communicate with you about this fundraiser. We will not sell your information to third parties.
Personal data is handled in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Payment details are processed directly by our payment provider and are not stored by Busby AFC. If you have questions about how your data is used, or would like it removed from our records, please contact us using the details below.
9. Liability
Whilst Busby AFC will take reasonable care in organising the club's involvement in this fundraiser, the club cannot accept liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from participation in the Mo Run Glasgow event itself, as this is organised by a third party.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
